Senior In-house Attorney – Epic
Location: Madison, WI (remote not permitted). Relocation assistance available.
Role Overview Epic is seeking a Senior In‑house Attorney to join the legal team. You will support Epic’s growth as we expand our offerings and enter new global markets. You will negotiate multi‑million dollar license and service agreements with renowned healthcare organizations worldwide. You will own challenging projects such as forging relationships with vendors and industry collaborators, ensuring compliance with existing and developing legal frameworks in the US and abroad, and managing litigation. Your level of responsibility will match your skill set and will increase rapidly as you expand your knowledge of our exciting and rapidly changing industry.
Responsibilities You’ll support Epic’s ongoing growth and manage legal projects, negotiate agreements, forge relationships, ensure compliance, and manage litigation.
Qualifications
Strong academic and professional background
Eye for detail, a creative mind, and excellent communication, writing, and analytical skills
Flexibility and tenacity in solving complex legal and business challenges
Motivated to learn about intellectual property, privacy, general corporate matters, employment issues, vendor relationships, and regulatory risk management
Relocation to the Madison, WI area is necessary and will be fully reimbursed
