Responsibilities

Drafting litigation documents such as petitions, motions, notices, and designations

Maintaining and updating case information in our case management system

Calendaring and tracking deadlines to ensure full compliance

Assisting with Minor Settlements and Friendly Suits

Coordinating and reviewing medical and billing records

Communicating with clients regarding case status, settlement options, and discovery (under attorney direction)

Preparing attorneys for hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials

Conducting legal and factual research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, Texas SOS, Public Data, and other tools

Drafting service‑ready discovery responses for attorney review

E‑filing in state and federal courts

Performing lien searches and assisting with settlement and disbursement documents

Supporting clients with discovery review, deposition preparation, and overall case management

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent

Moderate to heavy Plaintiff Personal Injury litigation experience (auto/truck accidents preferred)

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook

Experience with case management software (Litify or similar)

Preferred (But Not Required)

Paralegal Certification

Federal court experience and e‑filing

Notary Public

Fluent in Spanish

Compensation $23 - $26 hourly
