This full‑time position will be headquartered in

Green Bay, Wisconsin.

This position offers a hybridized work schedule. The position will be headquartered at the DTSD office building in Green Bay, WI at least 2 days per week, additional days for training will be required. All employees working a hybrid work schedule are still expected to telework from within the State of Wisconsin. This topic will be discussed more at the time of the interview.

Position Summary This position is responsible for assisting with or administering consultant activities for the Northeast Region (NER) Technical Services Section (TSS) and/or providing support for administering the consultant activities for State and Local projects in the NER Project Development Section (PDS). This position assists the supervisors and project managers in the development of consultant contracts; monitors progress; and administers consultant contracts. This position also assists with monitoring progress of consultant contracts; managing the CARS invoice and evaluation process; administering contracts; managing and coordinating budgetary considerations; and database management.

At the entry level, the employee must occasionally exercise independent judgement when making decisions with review of work by supervisor or more experienced contracts staff. At the senior level, the employee must exercise independent judgement when making decisions with minimal review of work. Due to the diverse responsibility and the complexity of contracts, this position must utilize a certain degree of initiative and discretion in problem solving, managing multiple priorities, and respond/communicate to the demands of many internal and external customers.

Salary Information

Entry level: Schedule range (07-05) with an

annual salary of $45,760 - $58,094

plus excellent benefits.

Senior level: Schedule range (07-04) with an

annual salary of $52,000 - $66,560

plus excellent benefits.

A twelve‑month probationary period is required. Pay for current state employees will be set in accordance with the Wisconsin State Compensation Plan.

Qualifications Qualified applicants at the entry level will have experience with all the following:

Using Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

Activities may include creating correspondence, creating/ reviewing reports in Word or Excel for accuracy, utilizing Outlook for meetings/emails, adding/deleting data or records in a spreadsheet, etc.

Reviewing documents for completeness and accuracy.

Activities may include peer‑reviewing documents, applying technical expertise in reviewing documents, reviewing documents containing data gathered from multiple sources, etc.

Reading and interpreting technical documents. Documents may include processes, procedures, contracts, etc.

In addition to the above requirements, qualified applicants at the senior level will have experience with the following:

Reviewing and/or managing contracts

Experience may include reading contracts, applying contract provisions, ensuring conformance to contract requirements, etc.
