The right candidate will work well in a collaborative team and on individual case assignments, be organized and able to prioritize tasks, and be familiar with the litigation process. Associates work closely with Partners to recover multimillion‑dollar verdicts and settlements for clients. Responsibilities
Draft civil pleadings, motions, discovery documents, and attend depositions
Work closely and effectively with lay and expert witnesses
Take responsibility for files within partner oversight
Provide trial and arbitration support as needed (experience a plus)
Qualifications
Active member of the California State Bar in good standing
3 to 8 years of experience drafting civil pleadings, motions, discovery, and attending depositions
Strong legal research and writing skills
Ability to work closely with lay and expert witnesses
Trial / arbitration experience a plus
Location: candidate must be in Orange County, CA; remote applications will not be considered
Construction or engineering experience helpful but not required
