Hillsboro House – 28 skilled beds and 2 short‑term rehabilitation beds in New Hampshire.

Pay Range:

$35–$42 per hour, based on experience.

Part‑time Benefits:

Responsibilities

Assist in delivering individualized therapy based on Occupational Therapist‑developed treatment plans, including activities to improve daily living skills (e.g., dressing, eating, mobility).

Track and document patient progress, maintain accurate records in compliance with facility policies, and report changes or concerns to the Occupational Therapist.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (PT, OT, nursing) to provide holistic care, and educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises, adaptive equipment, and strategies for independence.

Lead or assist patients with exercises, activities of daily living, and other therapeutic tasks, creating a positive, supportive environment to encourage engagement.

Qualifications

Associate’s degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program from an accredited school.

Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).

Current state licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.

Previous experience in an occupational therapy setting (hospital, clinic, school, etc.) preferred; new graduates encouraged to apply.
