Registered Nurse

Job Summary The CVOR RN is responsible for providing skilled nursing care within the Cardiovascular Operating Room. This role involves working 40 hours per week, participating in on-call duties, and potentially floating within scope to meet facility needs. The position requires an active Alaska RN license or pending license with a strong preference for an in-hand license.

Responsibilities

Provide skilled nursing care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room.

Perform duties as outlined in the generic Registered Nurse job description.

Participate in on-call duties as required.

Float within scope to meet facility needs.

Document patient care and related duties appropriately.

Required Skills & Certifications

BLS certification

ACLS certification

Active Alaska RN License or pending license (strong preference for in-hand license)

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant setting (inferred from generic job description)

Clinical Assessment, Medication Administration, and Treatment Planning skills (inferred from generic job description)

Special Considerations

On-call is required.

Clinician may float within scope to meet facility needs.

All RTO must be included with submittal.

Traveler can be called off for 1, 10-hour shift per 2 weeks.

Candidates permanent address must be at least 50 miles from facility.

4x10 Days (40Hrs)

Shifts are determined or assigned by the facility.

Guaranteed Hours: 70 Hours per 2 weeks
