We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Operating Room (OR) team at a well-established healthcare facility in Lawrenceville, Georgia. This is a contract position with a duration of 13+ weeks and potential for extension based on performance and facility needs. As an OR Nurse, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality surgical care by assisting in pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative phases. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and a passion for patient-centered care. Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures Assist in preparing the operating room and surgical instruments Monitor patients’ vital signs and condition throughout procedures Work collaboratively with surgical teams including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and technicians Maintain a sterile and safe environment in the OR Ensure accurate documentation of patient care and surgical activities Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards Qualifications
Current and active RN license in the state of Georgia (or compact license) Minimum 2 years of recent OR nursing experience required BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) required Strong communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skills Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed Benefits
