Summary This production position works in a production area processing poultry products, involving live poultry, raw and/or cooked products. We are recruiting for day, night, and third shifts, including live hang, cut rehang, cut up, wings, leg debone, thigh debone, fresh cut, and shipping.
Shift Schedules
Day Shift 7:30 am–5:00 pm
Night Shift 2:00 pm–11:00 pm
Night Shift 5:00 pm–3:00 am
Third Shift (shipping only) 10:00 pm–7:00 am
Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Work at various stations along the production line processing poultry food products.
Adhere to all safety requirements including PPE, prevent and report unsafe acts, Lockout‑Tagout procedures, and Process Safety Management matters.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Lift comfortably between 40–60 pounds.
Participate in company and department safety programs.
High School or equivalent preferred.
Experience Requirements
Minimum 6 months of consecutive work history with one employer within the past 2 years in a comparable field; poultry processing/manufacturing experience preferred.
Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements Work in a plant environment with wet/moist floors, metal and plastic grating surfaces, temperatures of 28–100°F, 100% humidity, noise ranges of 50–110 dB, dust, feathers, and chemicals used in poultry processing. Must wear protective and safety equipment as directed. May handle product at 25–50°F and lift up to 50 lbs. Stand for several hours, reach, bend, push boxes on conveyor assembly, and occasionally be exposed to CO₂ vapors (10 ppm) and chlorine (≤20 ppm).
