Job Summary The Utility Worker delivers automotive parts, supports warehouse operations, maintains vehicle cleanliness, and ensures safe driving practices while interacting professionally with customers.
Key Responsibilities
Drive a 16‑foot box truck to deliver automotive parts to customers.
Load and unload deliveries safely; secure cargo appropriately.
Maintain organization and cleanliness of the truck and loading area.
Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections.
Maintain delivery logs, mileage, fuel usage, and incident documentation.
Communicate with dispatch regarding daily schedule and delivery issues.
Comply with safety procedures and proper use of PPE.
Other job duties as assigned.
Qualifications Skills & Abilities
Knowledge of state and federal motor carrier regulations.
Understanding of basic truck and trailer mechanics.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to safely navigate congested roads.
Ability to read maps and use GPS technology.
Safe and responsible vehicle operation skills.
Flexibility to work varied hours.
Education & Experience
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Valid driver's license required.
Experience driving box trucks preferred.
