About the Position As a Low Voltage Production Supervisor at Power Design, you’ll lead production teams responsible for assembling and delivering high-quality low voltage system components for large-scale commercial and multifamily projects. This position plays a vital leadership role in ensuring production goals are achieved safely, efficiently, and with exceptional attention to detail. You’ll combine technical expertise with leadership and process management to drive operational excellence while supporting team development and fostering a culture aligned with Power Design’s values: integrity, accountability, teamwork, innovation, and growth.

Position Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily low voltage production activities to ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

Lead and mentor production team members by providing feedback, coaching, and performance development.

Review and assign work orders, plan material needs, and manage production schedules.

Verify work progress and accuracy using digital systems such as Prodsmart, Prefab App, Deposco, and Microsoft Teams.

Conduct regular quality control inspections and implement corrective actions when necessary.

Promote Power Design’s ZERO-IN safety culture by ensuring compliance with all training, certifications, and environmental standards.

Analyze weekly production reports to identify opportunities for efficiency, cost savings, and process improvement.

Collaborate with Prefab leadership and stakeholders to align production plans with project schedules and client needs.

Manage communication between departments to ensure accurate material releases, deliveries, and reporting.

Model Power Design’s customer-first approach by maintaining professionalism, responsiveness, and a focus on results.

Here’s What We’re Looking For

Internal candidates: 2+ years of Power Design tenure in a field or office role (licensed electrician) or 1+ year as a Lead Production Associate with exceptional performance and a Corporate Manager recommendation.

External candidates: Licensed Journeyman Electrician (FL) with prior experience in production or prefab operations and demonstrated people management experience.

Systems-specific certifications required: BICSI and CTS-I (Certified Technology Specialist – Installing).

Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop team members to achieve production and quality goals.

Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) and Bluebeam.

Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and quality standards for low voltage systems.

Demonstrated understanding of national and local electrical codes.

Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to lift up to 49 lbs., push carts up to 60 lbs., stand for 8+ hours, and work four 10-hour shifts.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills a plus.
