Behavioral Health Specialist Fellow (MSW)
Oak Street Health’s graduate Behavioral Health Specialist Fellowship is a 12‑month paid training program that equips you with the skills, support, and learning needed to become a confident clinician for older adults.
Location Belmont Cragin & Skokie (1819 N Harlem Ave, Chicago, IL 60707). Fellows will cover Belmont Cragin 3 days per week and Skokie remotely 1 day per week.
Program Highlights
Evidence‑based interventions and psychotropic medication training
Clinical supervision hours from a licensed clinical social worker

Genuine passion for behavioral health with a focus on short‑term solution‑focused therapy
Supportive attitude toward older adult patients
Team‑oriented mindset and willingness to collaborate with colleagues
Interest in an empirically guided population health model
Admission Requirements
Family, Adult or Adult‑Gerontology Social Worker currently enrolled in or about to graduate from an MSW program
Willingness to work in the assigned location for the program duration
Minimum GPA of 3.0 in the MSW program
Active, non‑probationary state lower‑level social work license in the state of staffing
Timeline
First‑round interviews as applications are received
Second and third rounds virtual or in‑person based on preference
Final decisions made as soon as possible
