Position Summary Provides clinical office support including greeting and registering patients, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance benefits and referrals, and collecting co‑paids.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Greets patients, assists with form completion and verifies the accuracy of insurance and demographic information; provides HIPAA, arbitration, and consent‑to‑treat forms.
Collects co‑pays and verifies and balances receipts and payments.
Reviews schedule for new patients, updating as necessary.
Calls patients with appointment reminders, obtains insurance information, and collects referral forms.
Prepares, distributes and collects fee tickets; reviews ticket completeness; reconciles tickets with the daily schedule.
Schedules return patient appointments and testing, validating patient parking.
May prepare patients’ charts for daily appointments.
Assists patients with insurance billing questions.
Assists staff with reminder card distribution and related scheduling duties.

Required Qualifications Education High school diploma or equivalent; or combination of education and/or experience.
Certifications / Professional Licenses Basic Life Support – American Heart Association; Basic Life Support – American Red Cross.
