Registered Nurse (RN) – FT Days $15,000 Sign On Bonus for FT Days

Valle Vista Health System is a 132‑bed acute care psychiatric hospital located in Greenwood, IN. The facility offers individual units for children, adolescents, adults, and seniors, and provides inpatient acute care, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs. Over 10,000 patients receive care each year, and the hospital is a proud teaching facility supporting local nursing students.

We offer a Psychiatric Nurse Residency Program for newly licensed nurses. This evidence‑based program focuses on patient safety in behavioral health, helping nurses apply knowledge, acquire new skills, and develop critical thinking. It increases competence, satisfaction, and retention while reducing stress and errors.

Qualifications Job Requirements:

Associate's degree from an accredited School of Nursing; bachelor’s degree preferred

Current license to practice nursing in Indiana (or eligible to receive/renew)

Current CPR or BLS certification

Days – 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., three 12‑hour shifts per week

Location: 898 East Main Street, Greenwood 46143

Job Responsibilities:

Nursing assessment

Nursing documentation

Treatment planning, monitoring and documenting progress on goals noted in the plan

Ensuring individual treatment plans are implemented and properly documented

Medication administration/medical management

Milieu management and communication

Crisis intervention

Staff and patient education
