Job Description Summary
Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse II provides individualized, goal‑directed patient care to families and patients at the competent level utilizing the principles and practices of the nursing process, delivering safe and effective care and interacting with other members of the health care team to achieve desired results.

Minimum Training and Education Associate’s Degree in Nursing. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations
Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
Basic Life Support (BLS)
required: certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or an AHA‑recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
required.
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
required.
Physical and Mental Requirements
