About the Role We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide exceptional nursing care to our patients within the GI department on a PRN basis. You will play a vital role in delivering patient-centered care through the nursing process, which includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

As a vital member of our healthcare team, you'll support the mission, vision, values, and strategic goals of Methodist Health System.

Your Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited nursing school

Current Basic Life Support Certification

Active nursing license in Texas or eligibility to apply

At least six months of RN experience

Your Responsibilities

Foster a collaborative workplace by utilizing effective communication, enhancing interpersonal relationships, and building strong teams.

Take ownership of the nursing components of the patient/family/significant other educational process.

Communicate clearly with team members, patients, and their families to ensure understanding.

Establish and maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, colleagues, and the facility.

Ensure clear, accurate, and timely written communication of patient information.

Administer medications and IVs safely, accurately, and in a timely manner.

Engage in personal responsibility and proactive professional development.

Utilize the nursing process to guarantee high-quality patient care throughout the entire episode of care.

Perform additional duties as assigned.
