We are looking for a Board Certified Part-Time Physical Therapist to join our already established multi-disciplinary group to provide caring and compassionate care to a diverse group of patients.
Qualifications
Comprehensive knowledge of neuromuscular injuries, orthopedic conditions, sports injuries and conservative/medical treatment options
Excellent interpersonal, organizational and customer service skills
Critical thinking, problem solving and the ability to multi-task
Dedication to ongoing professional development
Responsibilities
Patient Evaluation: Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans
Treatment and Rehab: Administer effective and evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including exercises, manual techniques and modalities to help patients recover and improve their physical function
Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on their conditions and treatment options, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery
Progress Tracking: Regularly evaluate and modify treatment plans based on patient progress and feedback, ensuring optimal outcomes
Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records into EHR in a timely manner, complying with all legal and ethical standards
Collaboration: Work as a team and closely with multi-disciplinary healthcare team including physicians, nurses, providers, and other ancillary staff to provide comprehensive patient care. Refer patients to medical and other specialties
Commitment to providing patient-centered care and working as a team in a collaborative team environment
Must have a valid Physical Therapy License in the state of FL.
