Hiring Range:
$32.23 – $39.61 (may vary based on experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity considerations)

Major Responsibilities
Assess and obtain a patient’s basic health status, records, and related data according to standard procedures and patient/family needs.
Administer medications, perform treatments as ordered, and operate equipment following policy and procedure.
Perform venipuncture using aseptic technique, 12‑lead EKGs, and administer vaccinations.
Participate in implementation and evaluation of care plans, including short‑ and long‑term goals, nursing actions, and teaching.
Document patient care according to standard procedure; record and report observed symptoms, reactions, treatments, and changes in patient condition to Provider and/or RN, and assist in analyzing and interpreting patient data.
Assist provider with treatments, procedures, and special tests as required or directed.
Communicate with patients via electronic, telephonic, and in‑person means, within scope of practice.
Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure quality and continuity of care.
Maintain a safe environment.
Standard Staffing Level Responsibilities
Comply with established departmental policies and procedures.
Attend various meetings, conferences, seminars as required or directed.
Participate in use of quality improvement in daily operations.
Comply with all health and safety regulations and requirements.
Respect diverse views, demonstrate Standards of Respect, and contribute to a professional, tolerant, civil, and accepting environment.
Maintain regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.
Perform other similar and related duties as required or directed.
Position Qualifications License / Certification / Education
Completion of an accredited practical nursing program.
Current Massachusetts licensure.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Experience / Skills
Knowledge of basic nursing procedures.
Strong interpersonal skills to gather information, build collaborative relationships, and provide exceptional patient service.
When certification, licensure, or registration is not required, equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
Physical Demands and Environmental Conditions Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Work is of heavy demand, standing and walking most of the time with possibility of pushing heavy equipment and bending frequently. Position requires work indoors in a patient care environment.
