Respiratory Care Practitioner - Respiratory Therapy Department, Sacred Heart Medical Center, Spokane, WA
Shift Details Part-time, Day shift, 24 hours a week
The Department-based Respiratory Therapist is expected to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of contemporary Respiratory Therapy principles. He/She will collaborate with Physicians and Nurses in planning and implementing the patient plan of care. Completion of the department orientation program as well as unit-specific orientation, as required, is mandatory. This individual assists the Physician with the delivery and direction of Respiratory Therapy. She/He may be qualified by training and experience to operate and maintain complex ventilatory support systems, monitoring and resuscitation devices, respiratory care procedures and patient assessments, diagnostic procedures and oxygen therapy. Activities may also include other patient care functions for which he or she is qualified.

Required Qualifications
Coursework/Training Education to meet certification, license, or registration requirement.
Upon hire: Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License
Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
