Adelphi is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse to provide nursing services to students at a school in Killeen, Texas. The ideal candidate will work closely with the school administration to provide nursing services to students in accordance with established guidelines and standards of practice.

Requirements

Valid LVN License

Pediatric care experience is preferred

Spinal Screening, Hearing Screening, Vision Screening, and CPR Certifications

Responsibilities

Perform injury and illness assessment

Provide first aid and emergency response

Manage chronic illness care and administer medications

Document services in Electronic Health Records (EHR)

Conduct Special Education (SPED) and Texas DSHS hearing and vision screenings

Maintain professional communication with parents, teachers, and administrators

Enforce exclusion procedures (for illness and communicable disease)

Travel between campuses when required

Any other assigned duties
