Compensation Base pay range:
$39,000.00 /year – $45,000.00 /year

Status: Full-time, Exempt
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Location: Remote
Overview The Credentialing Specialist will maintain the credentialing database, ensuring all licensures, insurance, board certifications for our healthcare providers are current. The role reports to the Central Business Office Manager and ensures compliance with governmental, state regulations, and UCA requirements.
Responsibilities
Maintain credentialing database and provider records.
Verify and ensure compliance with licensure, insurance, and board certification requirements.
Coordinate provider enrollment and re‑enrollment through portals such as CAQH, PECOS, PEMS, and TMHP.
Communicate professionally with physicians and physician extenders regarding credentialing matters.
Assist with delegated credentialing activities.
Stay current on federal and state regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years of provider credentialing experience.
Bachelor’s degree in health care administration, business management, or related field (preferred).
Proficiency with credentialing software and payor portals.
Intermediate proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and Adobe.
Knowledge of federal and state regulatory requirements and accreditation standards (Joint Commission, NCQA, UCA, CMS) (preferred).
CPCS or CPMSM certification (preferred).
