Senior Industrial Hygienist
We are seeking an Environmental Staff Industrial Hygienist to join our growing Asbestos, Lead, and Industrial Hygiene practice in Savannah, GA. Responsibilities
Prepare proposals and carry out in-depth and complex field investigations.
Write associated reports under the direction of senior management and leadership.
Lead projects and other staff personnel across various local and national projects.
Conduct Asbestos, Mold, Lead, and other Industrial Hygiene Surveys.
Perform Indoor Air Quality Investigations.
Oversee Asbestos, Mold, Lead, and Industrial Hygiene Projects.
Conduct Occupational Health Exposure Assessments.
Prepare and deliver technical reports.
Conduct project monitoring, asbestos/lead inspections, and indoor air quality/mold assessments.
Analyze laboratory data.
Prepare draft reports for review by senior management.
Maintain consistent communication of project progress with senior management.
Prioritize employee safety both in‑house and on‑site, in accordance with corporate policies.

Indoor Air Quality Investigation experience

Industrial safety
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or related field
Minimum 5+ years of experience
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Master’s degree preferred
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable violation history
AHERA‑Certified Asbestos Building Inspector and South Carolina Asbestos Building Inspector License
Phase Contrast Microscopy Sample Analysis experience
AHERA‑Certified Asbestos Building Management Planner and Project Designer
Radon Professional Certification
Work Environment The position operates on a Monday to Friday schedule, with work conducted both in the office and in the field on various projects. Typical hours are 8 AM to 5 PM, though they may vary depending on project demands and the completion of reports.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Savannah, GA.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
