Responsible for oversight of the scorer’s table during Adult Basketball league games.### Job ScopeNo supervisory or budgetary responsibilities.### Principal Duties and ResponsibilitiesMaintaining records of game related to score, time, fouls, ball possession and periods on the scoreboard and in the game book.Maintains safety by following LSPR guidelines, policies and procedures; responsible for reporting issues regarding participants to Recreation Supervisor.Responsible for observations related to Adult Basketball league and for advising Recreation Supervisor of observations and recommendations.Attends staff meetings as directed. Ensures enforcement of rules and regulations of LSPR. Performs all other related duties as assigned.The duties listed above are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work that may be performed.

Ability to analyze community needs, problem solve and implement solutions, and relate to the needs of all age groups. Ability to establish good working relationship with public, subordinates and supervisors. Ability to maintain self-control and composure and set a professional example for the staff and participants. Skills in communications and providing exceptional patron service.Basic understanding of athletic and sports management rules and procedures.### Principal Working RelationshipsWorks with Basketball Referee, Recreation Supervisor, Harris Park Community Center Manager and Superintendent of Recreation to gain overall guidance and direction in the conduct of duties. Interacts with departmental personnel to provide quality services and to satisfy operational needs.
