Launching initially with CHAUS and private label lines and then expanding into a multi-brand platform business, we have been at the forefront of market trends and the changing retail environment.

Responsibilities
Attending meetings with design/merchandising, sales
Daily meetings with the head of the department
Ordering proto and sample yardage
Create fabric charts and assist all fabric development from L/D, Y/S to sy stage
Daily communication with mills, vendors, and factories
Attending fabric appointments
Maintain and organize fabric library - file lab dips, sy, linings.
Managing tailoring charts, binders, working with NY factories on urgent tailoring samples.
Qualifications
Minimum 1+
years of experience
in textiles and/or degree in textiles
required
Strong understanding of fabric types and construction as well as basic knowledge of yarns, production processes, and finishing techniques
An interest in textiles and desire to learn more about fabric sourcing
Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
The salary range for this full-time position is dependent upon experience between $60,000-$65,000.
