Start Your Journey with Midas Hospitality Midas Hospitality is seeking a Cook and a cashier to join our team at the Vib hotel located in Tempe, AZ. This position will provide exceptional food service to hotel restaurant guests while maintaining a positive and friendly demeanor.
What You Will Be Doing:
Greets and takes food and drink orders from restaurant customers, serving the orders and accommodating special needs/requests.
Memorizes menu items, recipes and daily specials in order to answer questions and make recommendation to customers.
Clear tables during function (pre-bus)
Complete assigned sidework.
Food prep and service in accordance with Health Dept. regulations and guidelines.
Correctly operating all foodservice equipment and proper food handling procedures
Accurate sales transactions and payment processing
Communicate with other staff and guests in a courteous and professional manner
Inventory control and daily restocking
Adhere to all Cousins Maine Lobster & Midas Hospitality policies and procedures
Facility upkeep including daily and continuous cleaning of concession stands and equipment
Any other related duty as assigned by the F&B Supervisor, Assistant General Manager & General Manager
The Ideal Candidate:
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, as scheduled days and times may vary based on need
Must be friendly, outgoing and willing to go above and beyond
Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
