Job Summary
Functions as a PACS Super User and is responsible for assisting the Radiologist and coworkers in the utilization of the PACS, RIS and the Radiologists reading system/Clario. Will have the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues relating to the PACS, RIS, and Clario reading system to assist the Radiologists. Has the ability to understand and work with image archiving, troubleshooting imaging system (PACS). Has working knowledge of radiology records for imaging and reports. Assists the radiologists with phone calls, WET READ results and worklist management.
Required Qualifications
Four (4) years of experience in healthcare or a relevant industry.
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to meet and communicate with the public in a courteous and professional manner.
Demonstrated computer skills in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
Ability to handle difficult customers or situations.
Knowledge of Radiology Information System (RIS), as well as commonly used computer applications in radiology and other hospital-based systems.
Knowledge of medical terminology.
Mandatory Education
High School Diploma, GED or certificate.
Employment Screening Requirements All individuals providing care to vulnerable populations are required to undergo background screening through The Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
