We need a Full-Time Dietary Manager to join our team at Highlandspring Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation in Fort Thomas, KY.
$16 to $25 Per Hour
You’ll help the chef supervise an efficient & effective dietary department. You’ll aid in planning, organizing, coordinating, & directing the dietary department as they provide nutritious & palatable foods to our residents.
You’ll Be Responsible For:
Assisting in the management of food service operations
Assisting in the orientation, training & supervision of the dietary staff
Assisting with the in-service program to ensure quality standards are maintained
Ensuring all staff are able to appropriately use & clean dietary equipment
Conducting meal rounds to aid in the supervision of meal delivery while being available to residents & families regarding food preferences & suggestions
Acquainting yourself with the "likes and dislikes" of the residents
Helping to oversee work areas including preparation, production, stock rooms & the dish room area to maintain standards of safety and sanitation
Completing PI audits for Chef as assigned
Assisting with inventories and stock rotation
Assisting with performance evaluations & discipline for dietary employees
Communicating with the dietitian/diet tech & other facility disciplines to ensure team work and quality patient care
Filling in for any position in the event of a call‑off
You’ll Need To Have:
A high school diploma
Management and culinary experience is beneficial
Desire to grow in the organization
A positive attitude and passion for working with the elderly
Daily Pay Get paid the same or next day if needed
