Performing in-depth patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic procedures, and crafting personalized treatment approaches
Diagnosing and treating a variety of acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in partnership with physicians or independently (depending on your credentialing)
Educating patients and their families on preventative measures, wellness strategies, and chronic disease management
Prescribing medications and therapies within your scope
Participating in follow-up care and chronic condition management
Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive and seamless care
Maintaining thorough and precise documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)
Education Requirements:
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Graduation from a recognized Nurse Practitioner program
Certifications Required:
Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in Nevada
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the capacity to obtain within 90 days)
