Our client is seeking a detail-focused Medical Payment Posting Specialist to support high-volume payment processing. This role is responsible for posting and reconciling payments, managing adjustments, and ensuring patient accounts are accurate and up to date. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with insurance payments, EOBs, and both manual and electronic posting methods. Key Responsibilities:
Post insurance, patient, and third-party payments to accounts with a high level of accuracy Balance and reconcile daily deposits to ensure payments are properly distributed Process payment adjustments, refunds, and denials in accordance with payer guidelines Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to underpayments, overpayments, or misapplied funds Collaborate with internal billing and AR teams to address payment-related issues Ensure compliance with HIPAA and internal policies Assist with additional revenue cycle tasks as needed Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical payment posting, preferably in a high-volume environment Experience handling both manual and electronic cash posting Strong background applying payments from insurance carriers, patients, and lockbox files Proven experience reviewing EOBs and processing payment adjustments Familiarity with medical billing systems such as Epic, NextGen PM, or similar platforms Working knowledge of EHR systems and Microsoft Excel Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently Work Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week Flexible start time between 7:30 AM and 9:00 AM Perks:
