Job Overview A successful, exciting and growing engineering organization located in Austin (Texas, USA) specialises in the computer hardware manufacturing industry and is seeking to hire a new Embedded Software Engineer to join the innovative team on a permanent basis. This role is suitable for an experienced Mid‑Level, Senior & Principal Embedded Software Engineer.

Responsibilities The successful Embedded Software Engineer will take responsibility for designing, developing, and testing the embedded software & firmware of the company’s existing, new, and future cutting‑edge technology products.

Qualifications

5-10+ industry years professional experience

Embedded software programming in C, C++, Python

Experience with Embedded Linux, Yocto, Buildroot

Experience with microcontrollers – STM32, PIC, ARM Microcontrollers

Knowledge & experience with schematics, digital/analog circuit design, DSP, PCB design

Ability to use lab equipment – multimeters, logic analysers, oscilloscopes, etc.

Version control systems – GIT, JIRA, SVN
