Mechanical Engineer
Minimum 3 years of Mechanical Engineering Experience Venteon is currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to fill an opening with a Construction Company located in Metro Detroit. Must have experience with mechanical systems distribution in construction projects. Requirements of the Mechanical Engineer
Degree in Mechanical Engineering required. 2-5 years minimum experience with a mechanical contracting company (preferred) and/or Architectural/Engineering firm required. Strong Skills and Proficient in Revit software or other compatible software required. Proven experience with reviewing, editing, and writing project specifications required. Experience with generating and/or reviewing production submittals against project specifications required. Experience with walk throughs, defining scope and generating bill of materials required. Must be Self-directed. Must also be able to others and possess strong communication skills. Ability to work cohesively with other departments within Company. Benefits of the Mechanical Engineer

Designs and coordinates all mechanical distribution systems meeting project specifications. under the guidance of a Professional Engineer (PE) on staff. Reviews and oversees the layout work performed by other engineers on staff as needed. Manages and schedules 3D modelers/2D Drafters (VDC/BIM modelers) on staff as appropriate for projects. Reviews, edits, and generate project specifications. Generates and reviews production submittals against project specifications. Assists in the estimating process for the mechanical contractor by attending walkthroughs, defining scope, and generating bill of materials. Completes other tasks and duties as assigned by Management.
