Job Overview We are seeking a
Civil Project Engineer - Site Design
to join a growing site design team supporting public and private development projects. This role focuses on preparing construction documents, technical reports, and site plans related to grading, drainage, utilities, and permitting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically strong, and comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare site development construction documents, including grading, drainage, and utility plans
Design site layouts, roadways, and parking areas in compliance with local and state standards
Support land planning, permitting, and hydrologic/hydraulic analyses
Develop erosion and sediment control plans and stormwater management designs
Assist with engineering reports, cost estimates, and technical specifications
Coordinate with surveyors, architects, and other project stakeholders
Participate in QA/QC reviews and revise plans based on comments
Support multiple projects under the guidance of a Project Manager
\ Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
Minimum 4 years of civil site design experience
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D (required)
Strong technical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Working knowledge of grading, drainage, utilities, and permitting standards
EIT certification preferred; PE preferred but not required
Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
