Description:
As a tutor on the Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform, you will provide online FE‑Mechanical Engineering instruction to students nationwide. You will set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and leverage AI tools to enhance sessions.
Responsibilities
Deliver 1‑on‑1 online tutoring sessions with students
Prepare and customize lesson plans that match individual learning styles
Use the Live Learning Platform to conduct courses, engage students, and track progress
Bill and invoice for tutoring sessions; receive payment twice per week
Participate in tutor training and best‑practice sessions, including AI‑powered Tutor Copilot usage
Qualifications
Strong communication skills and an engaging teaching style
Expertise in FE‑Mechanical Engineering with ability to explain concepts clearly
Experience in tutoring, teaching, or graduate‑level engineering education preferred
Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles
