Hearing Instrument Specialist
to join their Orlando clinic and deliver high-quality hearing care in a supportive, patient-focused environment.
Position Overview The
Hearing Instrument Specialist
will perform hearing evaluations, recommend appropriate hearing solutions, fit and program hearing aids using best-practice protocols, and provide ongoing counseling and follow-up care. This role offers professional autonomy while still being part of a collaborative, experienced clinical team.
The ideal candidate is confident in treatment planning, patient education, and creating a positive patient experience that leads to long-term success.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations for adult patients
Recommend hearing solutions aligned with patient goals, lifestyle, and assessment results
Program, fit, verify, and adjust hearing aids using best-practice approaches
Provide counseling, troubleshooting, and follow-up care to support long-term outcomes
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Collaborate with clinic leadership and team members to support continuity of care
Qualifications
Active Florida Hearing Instrument Specialist License (required)
Experience fitting and programming hearing aids
Strong communication and patient counseling skills
Commitment to ethical, patient-centered care
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary + commission range: $85,000–$105,000+
