Responsibilities As the
Registered Dietitian (RD) , you will be responsible for:
Assessing the nutritional care of each resident/patient in the center.
Advising the clinical team, dietary department, and Administration on the nutritional status of residents.
Interpreting lab values, evaluating nutritional intake, monitoring consumption patterns, and addressing food/drug interactions.
Developing therapeutic diets and ensuring overall customer satisfaction.
Ensuring optimal nutrition and maintaining high standards of care.
Must Have
Registered Dietitian License.
3-5 years’ experience in an acute or long‑term care environment.
Excellent knowledge of skilled nursing regulations (federal/state/local) as they pertain to the dietary field.
Excellent knowledge of the aging process and the physical, psychosocial, and social needs of the long‑term care resident population with regard to nutrition.
Nice To Have
Experience with PointClickCare (PCC).
