Join Peachford Hospital as a Registered Nurse in our Behavioral Health department. Peachford is Atlanta and North Georgia’s most comprehensive psychiatric and behavioral health facility, caring for patients aged 5‑95 through crisis stabilization, adult, adolescent/child and geriatric psychiatry, and outpatient services such as partial hospitalization and ECT.
Responsibilities
Demonstrate an understanding of mental illness or addictive disease and its effects.
Interact with patients of all cognitive levels, including those with histories of trauma.
Show patience and understanding.
Maintain patient safety and support the care team.
Qualifications Minimum requirements: Graduate of an accredited nursing program; State of Georgia or E-Compact multi‑state nursing license required. Preference for RNs with at least one year of experience; prior psychiatric experience is helpful but not required.
