Job Description
Korzen Health, located in Allen, TX, seeks a full‑time Wound Care Physician (MD/DO) to lead the outpatient Wound Care Clinic program in the Allen market area in collaboration with Healogics and the Pres hospital of Allen.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage the outpatient wound care clinic program.
Provide procedural wound care, including suturing, incision and drainage (I&D), and other wound‑related procedures.
Maintain procedural case logs as part of the credentialing process.
Collaborate with the full clinical team (case manager, hyperbaric oxygen therapy nurses, office manager, front/back‑end support) to deliver comprehensive wound‑care services.
Assist in training and development of clinical staff.
Qualifications
MD or DO degree.
Board‑Certified or Board‑Eligible in wound care (or related specialty). Must be current with a state medical license and DEA license.
Strong procedural background with recent experience in suturing, I&D, and similar procedures.
Availability to work daytime hours (approximately 40 hrs per week) with no on‑call, holiday, or weekend duties.
Scope of Practice Highlights
Full team support – case manager, hyperbaric oxygen therapy nurses, office manager, front/back‑end support.
Advanced wound‑care therapies including cellulitis therapy, compression therapy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, infection management, wound cleaning, and wound dressing.
