Education & Experience Requirements
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing preferred
NIHSS certification required within 6 months of employment.
ACLS certification required within one year of employment.
Current BLS through AHA or American Red Cross
Successful completion of Telemetry Cardiac Rhythm Course
Current valid Nebraska Registered Nurse (RN) License or valid compact multistate license.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Perform an initial and ongoing assessment to determine the assigned patient's ongoing nursing care needs
Provide appropriate care specific to the age of the customer / patient
Develop / review / revise and individualize the plan of care to address the patient's nursing care needs
Implement interventions that are consistent with the established plan of care in a safe and appropriate manner
Evaluate patient care to determine response to care / interventions
Perform technical skills competently and independently to assure patient safety
