Job Description Summary:
Primary responsibility is teaching History at the high school level.
Qualifications:
Applicants must be eligible for a Virginia teaching license with a History and Social Sciences. License eligibility may be met through any of the following routes:
Completed an approved teacher preparation program in history;
Hold a bachelor’s degree in history from an accredited institute
Salary:
Range based on the 2025‑2026 Teacher Salary Scale is $53,000 – $82,243 with additional supplemental pay for a graduate degree. The salary scale may be adjusted based on the 2026‑2027 school board budget.
Workday:
Full‑time / 10 months / 200 Days
