Hours:

Full-Time Days, 8am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday, periodic weekend/holidays

Sign-on Bonus:

Up to $10,000

Responsible for the daily provision of pharmaceutical services to the patients of HonorHealth. Assures the appropriate selection, dosing, administration, and dispensing of medication orders. Provides support for clinical programs and practices within the ambulatory setting as well as medication order review with accuracy; check technician-prepared products before release; maintain security of pharmacy and controlled substances; aid in the training of new staff; participate in continuous quality improvement activities, such as drug-level monitoring, adverse event monitoring and medication error reporting. Provides drug information and participate in the education of patients, staff and physician on drug therapy.

Qualifications:

Pharm.D. Graduate of an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy with a minimum of Doctor of Pharmacy degree or equivalent experience

1 year Completion of a PGY1 pharmacy residency (ASHP accredited) - preferred

1 year of pharmacy experience in ambulatory, home infusion, long-term facility, or hospital setting - preferred

1 year pharmacy experience in the oncology setting - preferred

Board Certification through Board of Pharmacy Specialties - preferred

Registered Pharmacist (RPh) Must obtain State of Arizona licensure within 90 days after hire
