Position Summary The Rehabilitation Aide works alongside the Patient Experience Coordinator and clinicians to perform requested administrative and clinical duties. The aide greets patients upon arrival, assists physical therapists and physical therapist assistants during treatment, and performs duties in compliance with state practice act requirements.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Prepare patients for physical therapy treatments, including putting on and removing supportive devices.

Assist physical therapists during administration of treatments and provide routine treatments such as hot/cold packs, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, etc.

Motivate and assist patients practicing exercises and functional activities under professional staff direction.

Clean work area and equipment after treatment.

Wash linens, fold and maintain linen cabinets.

Maintain restrooms and other areas, restocking supplies as needed.

Assist the Patient Experience Coordinator with answering phones, scheduling appointments, and filing paperwork and charts.

Track clinic supplies for non‑medical and medical items and order inventory as required.

Qualifications

High school graduate (intern preferred).

Previous clinical aide or rehabilitation tech experience preferred.

Strong communication and presentation skills, written and verbal.

Ability to document projects and manage production.

Attention to detail and time‑management skills.

Committed to providing superior patient/client satisfaction.

Energetic team player with compassion for patients.

Complete tasks thoroughly.

Basic knowledge of office equipment preferred.

Language Skills

Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Physical Demands

Specific vision requirements: close‑range, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Regularly required to talk and hear.

Can perform typical office activities, including seated computer work, filing, and lifting office supplies.

Standing, walking, sitting, and hand/arm use are frequent.

Occasional lifting of 20–25 pounds.

Fine hand manipulation (typing).

Work Environment

Internal office setting.

Typically low noise level.

Minimum Salary/Wage: USD 12.41 Hr.
