Job Summary GSK US Oncology team is looking for an Oncology/Hematology Account Manager to manage the sales and business activities within a defined geographical business area. The role focuses on driving sales, leveraging customer relationships, and impacting a variety of customer segments. This includes designing and implementing business plans intended to increase revenue from targeted customers based upon strategic business analysis. You will collaborate with cross‑functional partners such as Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Commercial Operations to drive sales results.

Territory to include, but not limited to: San Francisco, East Bay, Napa Valley, California. (Relocation assistance not provided).

Account Responsibilities

Drive area sales results and ensure open patient access to GSK therapies.

Develop and execute area business plans.

Identify and apply resources to develop key prescribers/key account drivers within area.

Engage proactively with key customers and account groups to promote both GSK therapies and company image.

Work cross‑functionally to maximize brand availability and exposure within key accounts.

Collaborate with team and Regional Sales Director to ensure successful launch and/or ongoing promotion of branded products.

Engage with Regional Sales Director and cross‑functional partners on the development of programs and activities that increase access to customers.

Basic Qualifications

4‑year BA/BS degree from an accredited institution.

3+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience, biologic/specialty sales experience, and/or 3+ years of clinical oncology experience, oncology education, patient care skills, and direct physician interface.

Valid driver’s license; must be able to drive or operate a vehicle—a requirement of this role.

Must reside in the designated territory; relocation assistance not available.

Ability to travel domestically as necessary, which may include overnight and/or weekend travel.

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years of oncology sales and/or specialty sales experience; health system/institutional experience is a strong preference.

Experience selling multiple‑myeloma and/or myelofibrosis products.

Product marketing, specialty pharmacy, payer, and state society experience is a plus.

Strong organizational skills to maintain a high level of productivity, innovation, and priority setting.

Proven ability to think strategically and work with a high level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.

Excellent oral and written communication skills for effectively interfacing with all levels of management and departments within the company.

Work Environment This role is field‑based and requires regular travel within the assigned territory.

Compensation and Benefits If you are based in Rockville, MD; or San Francisco, CA, the annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges from $158,250 to $263,750. If you are based in another US location, the annual base salary range is $158,250 to $263,750.

The US salary ranges take into account a number of factors, including work location within the US market, the candidate’s skills, experience, education level, and the market rate for the role. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus and eligibility to participate in our share‑based long‑term incentive program, which is dependent on the level of the role. Available benefits include health care and other insurance benefits (for employee and family), retirement benefits, paid holidays, vacation, and paid caregiver/parental and medical leave.
