Position Summary
Production Associate – Madera, CA at Georgia Pacific. Join a team that values safety, teamwork, and career growth. Shift & Hours
Applicants must be available to work all shifts: 1st (7:00 am–3:00 pm), 2nd (3:00 pm–11:00 pm), and 3rd (11:00 pm–7:00 am). All shifts include weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed. Flexible shift assignment determined at time of hire.
Responsibilities
Operate production equipment to meet standards and product specifications. Enter data into computer control systems. Troubleshoot equipment to optimize production. Perform basic asset care, including routine preventative maintenance and cleaning. Work as a team to meet or exceed production, waste, quality, and safety goals. Operate or work around mobile equipment. Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing required safety gear. Perform manual tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, and pulling for up to 12 hours daily in a hot, humid, noisy environment.
Basic Qualifications
Experience in a manufacturing, agricultural, warehouse, or military environment, or completion of post–high school education in manufacturing/industrial field.
What Will Put You Ahead
Experience using a computer, tablet, or smart device. One (1) year or more experience working in a manufacturing and/or industrial environment. Experience in the corrugated packaging industry.
