We’re seeking an Automation Technician to support production by ensuring automated equipment runs safely, efficiently, and reliably. This hands‑on role focuses on real‑time troubleshooting, PLC/HMI adjustments, and supporting both Controls Engineering and Maintenance teams to maximize uptime and performance. Key Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and adjust automated and PLC‑controlled equipment during production Perform minor PLC logic edits and parameter changes Diagnose faults and restore equipment using HMI interfaces Support electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic troubleshooting efforts Assist with equipment startups, changeovers, and commissioning updates Perform I/O checks, sensor verification, and minor wiring repairs Support integration of sensors, drives, vision systems, and safety devices Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on uptime and scrap reduction Communicate equipment status and corrective actions with cross‑functional teams Follow all safety protocols, including LOTO and PPE Qualifications

High school diploma required; technical certification preferred 2+ years supporting automated equipment in a manufacturing environment Working knowledge of PLC/HMI systems (Allen‑Bradley or similar) Experience with electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems Ability to read electrical schematics and ladder logic CMMS experience preferred Manufacturing/warehouse setting with industrial equipment exposure Local travel between facilities may be required Seniority level
