Mechanical Engineer Location:

Contract
Responsibilities
Create operational method sheets for Advanced Energy (AEI) test fixtures in Adobe Illustrator.
Generate manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings and wiring schematics for AEI test fixtures in SolidWorks.
Support in designing assembly fixtures.
Physical unit verification of build units.
Release design updates through Engineering Change Orders (ECO).
Participate in PDM (EPDM) and PLM activities (iPro – AEI tool).
Generate/Update Bill of Material.
Coordinate with purchasing, engineering, shop floor and shipping teams for building, testing and shipping the test fixtures.
Support in enclosure machining.
Skills
Experienced Mechanical Engineer.
Preparation of BOM (Bill of Material), OMS (Operational Method Sheets).
Design of sheet metal and machined parts.
GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis.
Manufacturing drawings creation.
Experience with SolidWorks.
Exposure to PDM (EPDM preferred).
Handling simple to complex assemblies.
Exposure to electro‑mechanical components and enclosures.
Qualifications
Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering.
