Allied 24/7 is currently seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to work in a variety of settings including public and private schools, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, short‑term and long‑term nursing care facilities, community clinics, colleges and universities, private practice offices, state and local health departments, state and federal government agencies, home health agencies, adult day care centers, centers for persons with developmental disabilities, and research laboratories.
Ideal candidates may specialize in a particular age group including pediatrics or geriatrics, or a certain speech or language disorder, or feeding and swallowing disorders. Learning to work on an interdisciplinary team is an important specialization. Allied 24/7 specializes in placing Speech Therapists in all settings. We have openings throughout the state and can find job matches according to your needs—per diem, long or short‑term temp, permanent placement and travel opportunities in speech therapy.
Duties and Responsibilities Essential duties and responsibilities of the Speech Pathologist include providing skilled therapy services and interventions in accordance with physician’s orders, developing a plan of care consistent with the rehabilitation goals of the patient, and participating in the interdisciplinary skilled nursing team. Candidates must maintain 85‑95% productivity and complete computerized documentation.
Required Qualifications
Graduate of a school of Speech Pathology accredited with the ASHA
Passing score on the National Certification Exam
Process or ability to obtain state licensure in desired location
CPR Certification
