R000064875### ### The Academic Success Coach plays an integral role in the support and success of students in an accelerated nursing program at our site in **Parsippany, NJ**. Major responsibilities include academic advising/success coaching and the retention/persistence of enrolled nursing students. The Success Coach interacts with students, university faculty and advising teams, professional staff, and other program personnel to enhance and facilitate the progression, and graduation of students. If your area of expertise is counseling, coaching, guiding and cheerleading in a higher ed setting, please join us!### ### ### **Academic Partner:** Felician University - Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing **Site location**: 300 Kimball Drive Suite 502 Parsippany, NJ 07054### **Schedule:** Onsite position, Mon-Fri standard business hours### **Training Start:** February 2 or March 9### **Compensation: $60k-$64k annual salary +** Full benefit portfolio including tuition package### ### **Primary Job Objectives:*** ### Facilitation and support of student progression* ### Provide on-site success coaching and coordination of appropriate student services* ### Manage student registration process for each semester (3 per year)### ### **What You Will Do:*** ### Provide proactive and developmental coaching/advising for all active students* ### Actively initiate and continue ongoing guidance to students whose grades, attendance, and/or personal barriers put them academically at risk* ### Communicate concerns about student progress to the student, faculty members, and administration in conjunction with coaching efforts and strategy* ### Consistently stay engaged with students in order to promote success by using forums such as one-on-one meetings, phone calls, and success workshops* ### Act as a liaison for student(s) in matters related to academic appeals, readmission requests, grievances, etc. affecting a student’s progress through the program* ### Appropriately document communication with students and maintain all required student population reports### ### **What You Will Have:*** ### Bachelor's degree required.* ### Master's degree in counseling or related field preferred.* ### Additional ongoing training, certifications, or seminar attendance desired.* ### Positive attitude, high level of energy and enthusiasm* ### Ability to read, analyze, and interpret reports* ### Confidence, resilience, strong organizational skills, exceptional persistence, a high level of commitment, and the ability to guide and motivate others### ### **What we’ll offer in return:*** ### A career where your work genuinely makes a difference* ### A stable income with a good salary* ### Extensive training with team and management support* ### Structured professional development plans and opportunities* ### Outstanding benefits and work perks* ### Collaborative and supportive team environment...and more!### #INDLOPESUP###At Grand Canyon Education, it is our privilege to serve students and those who support academic advancement.
