Position Details Title:

Analog IC Design Engineer, High-Speed

Duration:

12+ months with high possibilities of extension

Location:

100% Remote

Pay Range:

$50-65/hr on W2

Responsibilities

Design high-performance and high-speed AMS circuits with a focus on transceivers and broadband circuits interfacing with silicon photonics elements.

Document design simulations and verifications towards formal design reviews.

Drive block-level floorplan, mask design, and their reviews.

Run post‑layout and mixed‑signal top‑level simulations to validate integration.

Qualifications

Experience designing Analog‑Front‑End blocks such as transimpedance amplifiers (TIA) and Tx driver.

Experience and deep understanding of Tx/Rx equalization techniques and circuits (e.g., CTLE, VGA, impedance matching network).

Experience designing Analog‑Front‑End blocks for SerDes.

Hands‑on design experience in TSMC N5 or N3 process node, from schematic to layout.

Experience with 3D Electro‑Magnetic (EM) simulation tools.

Excellent understanding of CMOS device characteristics, noise, mismatch, linearity, and design trade‑offs.

Experience interfacing with silicon photonic modulators (MZM, Ring) is a plus.
