Job Description This role offers a range of $87,000 to $95,000 annually. Actual compensation will be based on qualifications such as experience, education, certifications, and skills, as well as geographic considerations.

The Analytical Chemist will perform analytical tests with some direction from the Lab Manager and/or project leader. Understands method development and can apply the principles to non-routine testing. Have potential to become a project leader and be responsible for shepherding a project from inception through preparation/submission of report. Will maintain, organize and lead multiple projects at a time. Highly organized, have knowledge of industry standards, such that he/she can move analytical methods towards work instructions, regulated methods, SOPs, and/or ASTMs.

Proficiency will be required in the following:

GC/MS, GC/FID, GCqTof, HRMS or LC/MS/MS

as well as in the use of

GC-FID, GC-Mass Spectrometry, FTIR, DSC, UV-Vis and particle size analysis.

As Analytical R & D Chemist you will be responsible to:

Prepare internal and external reports.

Prepare and maintain data for formal submission outside of INX

Assist with raw material and finished good analysis and evaluation.

Support day to day laboratory activities by performing routine analytical tests with strict adherence to SOP and GLP when necessary

Perform non-routine analytical tests.

Utilize literature and patent searches to support non-routine tests, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.

Develop new methods for the analytical lab.

Maintain, organize, and lead multiple projects at a time.

Evaluate instrument system suitability.

Work independently with some supervision of lab manager and/or project leader.

Facilitate cross lab discussion for project progression, completion and/or analysis.

Maintain a clean and orderly work environment according to 5S guideline and 5S Best Practices at the respective facility

Qualifications: To perform your job as expected, you will be required to have:

BA or BS in chemistry or science with 5+ years of experience; or MS in chemistry with 3+ years of experience; PhD in Chemistry with 1+ years of experience.

Proficiency using MS Office.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in separation and extraction techniques for analytical analysis and characterization.

Proficiency at equipment and experimental troubleshooting.

Proficiency in quantitative and qualitative laboratory tests.

Proficiency in quantitative analysis.

Proficiency in Analytical methods, laboratory equipment, and HPLC/MS and/or GC/MS.

Proficiency at analytical instrumentation analysis software.

Have basic understanding of ink formulation and components as it pertains to analytical analysis and daily analytical activities.
