3rd Shift Resident Aide / Med Tech
Alger Heights Senior Living Facility, Grand Rapids, MI. Join our team to provide exceptional care and support to residents, administering medications, assisting with daily living activities, and ensuring a clean, safe environment.
Responsibilities
Providing assistance to residents with daily living activities such as transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking.
Administering medications and injections based on physicians’ orders recorded in medical charts.
Ensuring cleanliness of the environment, including light housekeeping duties.
Complying with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures.
Monitoring changes in residents’ conditions and promptly communicating any changes to the supervisor.
Following schedule and assisting residents with repositioning.
Accurately documenting medication administration.
Using good judgment in client care and ensuring resident safety.
Assisting other team members with their duties as necessary.
Responding to call lights and assessing residents’ needs promptly.
Obtaining meal trays and assisting with eating.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements
Ability to pass a criminal background check.
Minimum age of 18 years.
Experience in medication administration and working with seniors.
