Sparky Electric is a leading electrical contractor specializing in medium to large‑scale multi‑family residential projects. We are seeking a Certified Electrician to join our dynamic team. This role offers a project bonus and an hourly rate of $29–$45. Benefits

Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in compliance with relevant codes. Assemble, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools. Diagnose malfunctioning systems and components using test equipment and hand tools, locate the cause of a breakdown, and correct the problem. Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other electrical components. Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and determine needed adjustments or repairs, ensuring compliance with codes. Test electrical systems for continuity using devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes to ensure safety. Maintain current electrician’s license or identification card to comply with governmental regulations. Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. Prepare sketches or follow blueprints to determine the location of wiring and equipment and ensure conformance with building and safety codes. Use a variety of tools and equipment including power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment such as oscilloscopes, ammeters, and test lamps. Install ground leads and connect power cables to equipment, such as motors. Perform business management duties such as maintaining records, preparing reports, and ordering supplies and equipment. Work from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. Place conduit (pipes or tubing) inside walls or other concealed areas, and pull insulated wires or cables through the conduit to complete circuits between boxes. Construct and fabricate parts using hand tools and specifications. Perform physical tasks, such as digging trenches to lay conduit and moving and lifting heavy objects. Qualifications

Certified Electrician with 8000 hours of experience in General Service or 4800 hours in Residential Service, and a valid state license per the Department of Industrial Relations. 3–5 years of relevant experience. Strong knowledge of electrical codes and safety regulations. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Excellent communication skills and the capacity to train and supervise junior staff. Other Information
